Redlands is a 25 acre property in the heart of the Yarra Valley. Located just over an hour from Melbourne CBD, the property gives a taste of country life for those wanting to escape the cities hustle and bustle. Whether you are enjoying one of over 30- wineries or taking the family to healseville sanctuary, you will be sure to have a wonderful time. The property boast 2 seperate cottages Gwinganna (Meaning -The Lookout) and Mirenbeena (Meaning-Welcome) and 1 Guesthouse (Girraween) on the owners small scale farm but are totally independant.
Mirabeena is a lovely 2 storey A-frame cottage. Upstairs has 4 bedrooms and 1 bathroom 2x Queen, 1x Double, 1xKing single) whilst downstairs has another Queen room and ensuite bathroom, as well as lounge kitchen/diningroom. Mirambeena has a cosy feel with its red brick floor and wood heater perfect for those Autumn/Winter months.
Activities in the area include:- Over 30 wineries, Healesville Sanctuary, Hedgend Maze, Warburton trail (bring your bikes and take the family for a ride) Country race meetings and Craft markets held at Healesville and Yarra Glen. Puffing Billy, Tesselaars tulip festival, or Walking tracks at one of the many State and National parks.
